In the last week, Daimler Vans USA, Daimler Trucks North America, and Honda updated their list of  vehicles included in the recall expansion.  The following vehicles have been added by the companies:

Daimler Trucks North America Driver Side Air Bag Recall:

Honda Passenger Side Air Bag Recall:

These lists are not final as it will take the car manufacturers, the NHTSA, and Takata Corp. time to check and compile complete lists of all the vehicles affected in the recall. Please continue to check with us or at the NHTSA's special website, http://www.safercar.gov/rs/takata/ for the most up to date information on the recall.

We are saddened to announce a Takata airbag was involved in another fatal accident in Louisiana. An article from the Wall Street Journal from this past weekend tied a malfunctioning Takata airbag to the fatal accident: http://www.wsj.com/articles/takata-air-bag-cited-in-louisiana-death-1434140874
